Adrion “Baby Banks” Strickland, 35. He was one of South Mississippi’s most wanted, Marshals credit a tip in Strickland’s arrest.Strickland had been arrested and convicted of possessing cocaine with intent to sell it. But minutes before he was to be sentenced at a federal courthouse in Hattiesburg in 2007, he told his attorney he was going to talk to his girlfriend and left the building. He had been on the run ever since, until Tuesday, when marshals from the Oxford office of the Fugitive Task Force caught him in Starkville. Strickland was listed among the most wanted by Jackson County’s FBI Safe Streets Task Force. Investigators believe he is a member of the Black Gangsta Disciples street gang and has lived in Mclain and Greene County.
